Legend states that Medusa was once a devoted priestess of Athena, cursed after breaking her vow of celibacy with Poseidon.

Medusas Whispers was founded in January 2023 ❤️

My name is Annastasia, and I’m from Melbourne. I fell in love with the art of candle making — the beauty, the scent, the attraction, the seduction.

Growing up with a Greek background, Greek mythology always fascinated me. Maybe it was the epic theatre films. Maybe it was weekly Greek school lessons learning the stories and history. Maybe it was both.
The beauty. The drama. The culture. The legend.

To keep that mythology alive, I created a candle range inspired by the ancient world. Each piece is designed to carry the mystery and cultural richness of mythology into the modern home — visually striking, deeply scented, and unmistakably unique.

All Medusa’s Whispers products are made using 100% organic ingredients.
No paraffin. No palm oil. No phthalates. No nasties.

Our scents are created using natural essential oils, and all wicks are made from cotton.

Our signature Medusa candles are crafted from 100% organic beeswax, carefully sourced from Manuka farmers across rural Victoria. Each candle is hand poured, completely unique, and intentionally imperfect — no two are ever the same.

Our soy candle and melt range is also organic, using premium soy blends (464, 494, Soyluna) and beeswax for moulded pieces. Candles feature one two or three wicks depending on size and weight, with carefully balanced scent loads.
